Print the Riser

Before assembly, you’ll need to 3D print the riser that sits on top of your Bambu Lab printer.

Download the Print File

Download the 3MF file which includes the model with recommended print settings:

Download Ryzer.3mf

3MF files contain both the model and print settings. Open directly in Bambu Studio or your preferred slicer.

Print Settings

If you need to adjust settings, here are the recommendations:

SettingRecommended Value
MaterialPLA or PETG
Layer Height0.2mm
Infill15-20%
SupportsNot required
ColorBlack (recommended for aesthetics)

Print Steps

  1. Download the Ryzer.3mf file
  2. Open in Bambu Studio (settings are pre-configured)
  3. Print the riser on your Bambu Lab printer
  4. Remove from build plate and inspect for quality
Allow the print to cool completely before handling to prevent warping.

Assembly

With the riser printed, you’re ready to assemble the kit.

Step 1: Attach LED Strip to Riser

  1. Clean the riser channel where the LED strip will be mounted

    • Wipe with a clean rag and some isopropyl alcohol to ensure a clean mounting surface for best adhesion
    • Let dry completely
  2. Peel the adhesive backing from the LED strip

    • Start from one end, don’t peel it all at once
  3. Start at the back of the riser where the wiring cable enters

    • This ensures proper fit and cable routing
    • Align the LED strip connector end with the cable exit point
  4. Carefully align and press the LED strip into the channel

    • Work from the back toward the front
    • Press firmly along the entire length
    • Make sure the strip sits flat without twists
The LED strip uses 3M VHB tape which is pressure-activated. Apply firm pressure along the entire length to fully activate the bond. Repositioning is difficult once pressed, so take your time aligning the strip before pressing it down.

Step 2: Mount the Control Board

  1. Locate the mounting position on the back of the riser

    • The control board attaches to the rear of the riser
  2. Secure the control board to the riser

    • Use the included mounting bolts and nuts

Step 3: Connect the LED Strip

  1. Route the LED strip cable from the riser to the control board

    • Keep cables tidy and away from moving parts
  2. Connect the LED strip connector to the control board

    • The connector only fits one way
    • Push until it clicks securely

Assembly Complete

Your Ryzer kit is now physically assembled. The next step is to power it up and configure WiFi.
