Flash Firmware from Browser

Flash Firmware from Browser

Flash your Ryzer device directly from your browser. No software installation required.

When do I need this? Browser flashing is only required for initial setup of a blank board, or to recover a device that won’t boot. For normal firmware updates, use the built-in OTA update feature which works over WiFi - no USB connection needed.

Browser Requirements

Browser-based flashing only works in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on desktop computers. Safari, Firefox, and mobile browsers are not supported due to Web Serial API limitations.

Before You Begin

  1. Ensure the 12V power adapter is connected - the board requires 12V power at all times
  2. Connect your Ryzer device to your computer via USB-C - this is only needed for manual flashing
  3. Close any serial monitors or other applications that might be using the USB port
